2025 Kia Syros: Unofficial Pre-Bookings Begin at Select Dealerships

The Kia Syros, a highly anticipated subcompact SUV, made its global debut on December 19, 2024. Positioned between the Sonet and Seltos in Kia's lineup, the Syros is set to compete in India's burgeoning subcompact SUV market.

Before its official unveiling, select Kia dealerships across India began accepting unofficial bookings for the Syros, with a token amount of ₹21,000.

Design and Features

The Syros showcases a modern design with vertically stacked LED headlights, flush-fitting door handles, and L-shaped LED taillights. Inside, it offers a dual-display setup, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and wireless charging. Safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control, and a 360-degree camera.

Engine Options

The SUV is available with two engine choices:

• 1.0-litre turbo-petrol: Producing 120 PS and 172 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT.
• 1.5-litre diesel: Delivering 116 PS and 250 Nm, mated to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.

Official Bookings and Deliveries

Kia India has announced that official bookings for the Syros will commence on January 3, 2025, with deliveries expected to begin in February 2025.

Pricing

While official prices are yet to be announced, the Syros is expected to be priced between ₹10 lakh and ₹16 lakh (ex-showroom). You might consider contacting local Kia dealerships to inquire about booking availability and other details.
