Vietnam’s electric car leader VinFast is set to mark its India debut, launching the highly anticipated VF6 and VF7 SUVs on September 6, 2025. VinFast’s arrival signals a surge in the Indian EV market, with the brand establishing 32 showrooms across 27 cities and aiming for further expansion this year
The VinFast VF6 is a sleek compact eSUV offering modern lines, LED DRLs, a stylish rear bar, and rugged body cladding. Inside, it sports a sophisticated dashboard layout, a large 12.9-inch touchscreen, colourful head-up display, and plush seating for families and trendsetters. Powered by a 59.6 kWh battery, it delivers up to 201 bhp and 310 Nm torque, with two variants offering a range of 410 km and 379 km on a single charge.
The larger VF7 will be available soon after, featuring a 70.8 kWh battery, spacious cabin detailing, and three trim options-all focused on performance, comfort, and long-range capability. Both EVs come with Level-2 ADAS, ventilated seats, a premium infotainment experience, and 360-degree camera systems, making them true rivals to Tata Curvv and Hyundai Creta Electric. Expected pricing starts at ₹25 lakh for the VF6, putting them within reach for premium EV buyers.
Bookings are now open via VinFast showrooms and online. The brand’s commitment to quality, reliability, and a robust service network positions the VF6 and VF7 as game changers in India’s clean mobility future.
